The MacBook Air was introduced in January 2008 as a premium ultraportable with a 13.3-inch screen and a full-size keyboard, and was promoted as the world's thinnest notebook, opening a laptop category known as the ultrabook family. The Macbook Air's lower prices relative to the larger, higher performance MacBook Pro have made it Apple's entry-level notebook since the discontinuation of the original MacBook line in 2011. It features a thin, light structure in a machined aluminum case and a 13-inch screen. Also Pop! OS is my favorite version of Linux in general, I set my entire distribution hub to run it on our cheap refurbished Dell All In One desktop's that barely ran on windows. The MacBook Air is a line of laptop computers developed and manufactured by Apple since 2008. If I start Bluetooth first then start my music it plays well, but if I start the music then turn on Bluetooth it skips parts of the audio. The only other issue was that the BlueTooth doesn't work flawlessly. Once installed, Pop! OS didn't recognize the wifi driver so I plugged it into ethernet and I opened the Pop Shop to update the laptop, I was auto prompted to install bcmwl-kernel-source. It works great, especially for the age of the machine. I had to install rEFInd on the mac before I could install from the pop os live USB. It would barely run Mac Osx Lion, and could not upgrade the OS any more which meant very limited usability, it wouldn't even run the newest version of Chome. MeticulousDionysus's Experience I Am currently writing this on a 2010 Macbook Pro with Intel® Core™ i5-2415M CPU and 8gb RAM, running Pop! OS 19.10 LTS.
